Organisation

Being organised is one of the biggest changes you need to make as you move from primary school, and at secondary school we expect you to be organised and take more responsibility for yourself.

You need to make sure you have all the things you need for each day, this includes having your Chromebook fully charged, bringing pencils, PE kit and  whatever else it is you need for each day.  The best thing you can do is pack your bag the night before for the next day.

Forgetting these things may result in detention.

There are no bells at the High School to tell you when you need to go to class, so you need to make sure you have a watch or phone which tells you the time and make sure you get to class on time.

Being organised and ready to learn is the expectation for all pupils at the High School.  You may want to think about getting a locker to help you store the things you need.  Ask our office staff if you would like a locker and they can give you the information you need.
